First of all, I would like to say that these images are not
intended to glorify Hitler or the views of the Third Reich!
Many years ago, I had seen this beautiful automobile on display,
while it was touring the USA.
Last week I did a search on the Internet, and to my surprise there
were no photos of it to be found!
So I have I decided to share a few of my photos with you on this
page.
These scans are directly from my old photo album, so I apologize
for the glare of the plastic covering.
I did not want to remove the covering, as they have been in the
album for many, many years, and I am afraid it might cause damage to the images.
The photos have faded
a bit over the years, but you can still tell what a beautiful car this
was!
It was claimed to have belonged to the mistress of Adolf Hitler,
Miss Eva Braun, and had been smuggled out of Germany after their
demise.
I see quite a bit of dispute over this claim on the
Internet, and I have no idea if it did belong to Eva Braun or
not.
All I can say is that I enjoyed seeing it in person,
and I hope you enjoy looking at my photos
of this amazing Mercedes Benz!
